Depok, July 10, 2025 – The Internal Quality Assurance Unit (UPMI) of SEBI Institute held a training session on preparing Semester Learning Plans (RPS) using Artificial Intelligence (AI) this morning in the main meeting room of the campus.
The training was led by Dr. Sepky Mardian, SEI, MM, SAS, CTA, CPA, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs. The event aimed to enhance faculty capacity in creating more effective, efficient, and adaptive RPS in response to technological advancements, particularly the use of AI in higher education.
“The application of AI in RPS preparation can assist lecturers in designing more structured learning experiences that are relevant to current needs and responsive to student characteristics,” Dr. Sepky stated during his presentation.
The training was attended by representatives from various study programs at SEBI Institute. Participants displayed enthusiasm as they engaged in this practical training, directly experimenting with various AI tools to support innovative semester learning planning.
During the hands-on session, faculty members were invited to explore various AI-based platforms and applications that can be used to develop learning outcomes, determine evaluation methods, and create course materials in a more adaptive manner. Interactive discussions took place, reflecting the collaborative spirit and high curiosity among participants.
This event is part of UPMI's ongoing efforts to improve the quality of learning and academic governance at SEBI Institute. With this training, it is hoped that faculty members will adopt new approaches in preparing RPS that support active, sustainable learning aligned with higher education quality standards.
