En. Muhammad Firdaus Bin Muhammad expressed his gratitude for STEI SEBI welcome. He stated that UIS is an Islamic University wholly owned by the Selangor Islamic Religious Council (MAIS) Malaysia. He continued the introduction of UIS through the display of slides and profile videos. UIS international students come from six countries; Pakistan, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia, with Indonesian students being the most at UIS. Currently, UIS has eight Faculties or Study Centers, namely; Faculty of Shariah and Law (FSU), Faculty of Islamic Civilization Studies (FPPI), Faculty of Management and Muamalah (FPM), Faculty of Multimedia, Creative & Computing (FMKK), Faculty of Education (FP), Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS), Matriculation Centre (PM), and Hadith Institute (INHAD).
On the same occasion, UIS opened opportunities for cooperation in several ways, including research collaboration, student exchanges, and human resource development. En. Firdaus ended his presentation by offering participants the opportunity to continue their education in the Postgraduate Program (PPS) at UIS. "We plan to collaborate in the field of human resource development in each university," explained En. Paradise.
Meanwhile, STEI SEBI, represented by Vice Chairman I for Academic Affairs, Dr. Sepky Mardian, stated that STEI SEBI was established in 1998 and has four excellent study programs, namely Sharia Banking, Sharia Accounting, Sharia Business Management, and Sharia Economic Law.
The visit ended with an exchange of souvenirs from the two universities. (ab)
