Depok, April 2025 – The SEBI School of Islamic Economics is proud to congratulate Dr. Rianti Pratiwi, S.E.I., M.Si., Ph.D., for successfully completing her doctoral studies at RMIT University in Australia this past March.
Dr. Pratiwi earned her Ph.D. with a dissertation titled "Uncovering Determinants, Barriers, and Impacts of Financial Inclusion in Indonesia: Major Empirical Analyses and Insights." This important work contributes significantly to the ongoing discussions and policymaking surrounding financial inclusion in Indonesia, a topic that is increasingly relevant given today’s economic challenges.
Mr. Firmansyah, S.E.I., M.M., Head of the Sharia Banking Study Program at SEBI, also shared his congratulations:

Dr. Pratiwi was fortunate to receive a scholarship through the 5000 Doctors Scholarship Program from Indonesia’s Ministry of Religious Affairs, commonly known as the MORA Scholarship.
Currently, within the Sharia Banking Study Program, there are five lecturers who have completed their Ph.D.s, five who are pursuing their doctoral studies, and four who are still completing their master’s degrees. Dr. Pratiwi’s success is expected to motivate her colleagues to continue their academic journeys.
SEBI is committed to enhancing the academic capabilities of both its lecturers and students. This achievement is anticipated to foster a vibrant and competitive Islamic higher education environment that contributes to national development.
