The agreement was signed by Akmal Hidayat, S.H., S.H.I., M.H., CLA., CLI., CPM., Managing Partner of TAP Law Firm, and Rini Afriyanti, S.H., M.Kn., Founder and Owner of the Notary and PPAT Office. Representing STEI SEBI was Dr. Rio Erismen A., Lc., M.A., the Head of the Islamic Economics Law Study Program. Also present were staff from the law firm and notary office, along with four HES students who will participate in the internship program.
In his remarks, Akmal Hidayat expressed his hope that students would gain knowledge and experience in legal and notarial services during the internship. He noted that TAP Law Firm, as a primary partner for one of the largest Islamic banks in Indonesia, operates extensively in the Jabodetabek and Banten areas. He mentioned that HES students have already studied and understood Islamic banking products, including various types of contracts applied in this financial business. The interns have the opportunity to contribute, collaborate, and learn with TAP Law Firm in addressing legal issues faced by its clients.
Rini Afriyanti, S.H., M.Kn., also mentioned that interns at her office would learn many valuable skills, such as the procedures for establishing and formalizing legal entities, as well as managing and issuing land and property ownership documents. She emphasized that these experiences would be invaluable for students as they prepare to enter the workforce after graduation.
Dr. Rio Erismen A. stated that the internship program will run effectively for one odd semester in the 2024-2025 academic year, expected to conclude at the end of January next year. Three students will be placed at TAP Law Firm: Muhammad Fikri Attamimi, Nafisa Sabila, and Yesha Avkira Nufus, while one student, Nadia Rahma Fitri, will be at Rini Afriyanti’s Notary Office and PPAT. Dr. Rio also urged the students to approach their internship tasks with enthusiasm and dedication.
