Depok, October 30, 2025 — Institut SEBI welcomed a visit from Kopertais Wilayah II of West Java as part of the monitoring and evaluation program for Private Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIS). This agenda is a routine activity conducted by Kopertais to ensure that educational practices adhere to applicable standards and regulations, as well as to encourage the enhancement of academic quality and institutional governance.
The visiting team from Kopertais included Wildan Baehaqi, M.Ag., and Mochammad Hilman Mujahid, S.E., who were received by Sigit Pramono, Ph.D., CA, CPA, Rector of IAI SEBI, Dr. Sepky Mardian, S.E.I., M.M., SAS, CTA, ACPA, Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs, along with the academic team and other supporting staff.
During discussions, the importance of enhancing faculty competence was emphasized as a fundamental foundation for the development of the institution. Various strategic steps to strengthen academic capacity and professionalism among educators were explored. The acceleration of functional positions for lecturers was also a key focus, aimed at supporting educational quality improvement and meeting the institutional quality standards set by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
In addition to faculty competence, the strategy for new student admissions was highlighted as a crucial aspect of the discussion. A more holistic approach is expected to create a selection process that not only considers the number of applicants but also takes into account the potential, character, and alignment of prospective students with the values and vision of the Islamic university.
