Depok, September 9, 2025 – Institut SEBI welcomed a visit from the Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Al-Qur’an (STIQ) As-Syifa on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. The visit aimed to enhance relationships and explore collaborative opportunities, particularly in the fields of academic and student management.
The event began with a recitation of the Al-Qur’an, followed by warm greetings from the Rector of Institut SEBI and the Chairman of STIQ As-Syifa. Both institutions introduced themselves, sharing profiles of their study programs and various academic activities.
The academic discussion commenced after the introductions, led by Dr. Sepky Mardian, S.E.I., M.M., SAS, CTA, ACPA, Vice Rector I of Institut SEBI. He explained the "Ecosystem" working system implemented at Institut SEBI, where each department supports one another. “For example, when one program undergoes accreditation, others also lend their assistance,” he noted. Dr. Sepky emphasized that management systems suitable for one institution may not necessarily fit another.
Meanwhile, STIQ As-Syifa highlighted the importance of discussions with the Business Management Study Program (MBS), which is currently a focal point for development. Abdi Triyanto, S.E.I., M.E.Sy., Chair of the MBS Program, stressed the integration of theory and practice in business. “We have a business incubator called SEBI Entrepreneur Lab (SEL) to provide practical experience for students,” he stated.
In a separate room, discussions on student affairs were led by Fahmi Syahbudin, S.E.I., M.M., Vice Rector III for Student Affairs. Topics included student development, scholarships, and evaluation mechanisms for scholarship recipients.
The question-and-answer session enriched the discussions with a wider range of topics, including collaboration with scholarship donors and financial management. Aries Hermawan, S.E.I., M.E., Director of SEBI Social Fund (SSF), also contributed by explaining aspects of this collaboration. The atmosphere of the discussion was warm, with light-hearted jokes adding to the friendly environment.
The event concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Institut SEBI and STIQ As-Syifa, followed by the presentation of a plaque from STIQ As-Syifa to Institut SEBI and a group photo.
This visit is expected to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions, enhancing the quality of education and student management in the future.
