The Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) and the Muhammadiyah Zakat, Infaq and Alms Institution (LazisMu) of West Java have once again spread happiness during the Eid al-Adha 1445 AH moment. In collaboration with the SEBI School of Islamic Economics (STEI SEBI) in Depok, West Java, they distributed sacrificial alms in the form of a 352 kg cow.
The handing over of the sacrificial animal was carried out on Sunday, June 16, 2024, and the slaughtering was carried out on Monday, June 17, 2024, by the Mosque Management Council (DKM) of Al Yarmuk Mosque. The sacrificial meat was then distributed to 100 beneficiaries, consisting of Qur'an memorization students, orphans, the poor, eligible recipients, single parents, and the Muslim community around the STEI SEBI location in Bojongsari, Depok.
For the beneficiaries, this sacrificial alms program brought deep happiness and gratitude. Karsono, a Qur'an memorization student at STEI SEBI, expressed, "Alhamdulillah, I am very happy to benefit from the BPKH and Lazismu qurban program. Thank you very much. I hope this program will continue to exist and spread goodness, and become a means of blessings."
Mrs. Arsyih, representing the beneficiary community, also conveyed her gratitude. "Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, we, the beneficiaries of the qurban meat provided by BPKH and LazisMu through STEI SEBI, feel very happy and grateful to receive a share of the qurban this year. I hope BPKH can regularly distribute qurban meat, especially in our area. We are very grateful to BPKH, LazisMu and the donors who have distributed their qurban meat. May their good deeds and worship be rewarded by Allah SWT," she said in a release received by Milenianews.com.
The BPKH and LazisMu West Java sacrificial alms program is a manifestation of concern and the spirit of sharing during the Eid al-Adha moment. Sacrificial meat not only becomes a source of nutrition for the needy, but also becomes a symbol of the unity and concern of the Muslim community in Indonesia.
