Depok, May 29, 2024 - SEBI School of Islamic Economics (STEI SEBI) together with the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) and Bank Muamalat held a seminar called "Let's Go on Hajj While Young" at the SEBI Hall Building, STEI SEBI, Depok. This event aimed to encourage the younger generation to plan and realize their dream of performing the Hajj pilgrimage from an early age.
In the opening remarks, Harry Alexander from BPKH and Sigit Pramono, the Chairman of STEI SEBI, emphasized the importance of the active participation of youth in the Hajj financial ecosystem. Harry Alexander also revealed that Bank Muamalat has played a crucial role in mobilizing Hajj funds, and he hopes that SEBI students can be more involved in the development of the Hajj economy.
At this seminar, speakers such as Juni Supriyanto, Ana Hastuti, and Prof. Dr. Ai Nur Bayinah shared their insights and experiences related to the theme "Realize the Intention, Plan While Young, Perform Hajj While Strong." They stressed the importance of thorough planning and spiritual awareness in undertaking the Hajj pilgrimage.
The seminar was attended by STEI SEBI students who will become the next generation in realizing their dream of performing the Hajj pilgrimage. Through the collaboration between STEI SEBI, BPKH, and Bank Muamalat, it is hoped that the enthusiasm for planning and performing the Hajj pilgrimage will continue to grow among the Indonesian youth.
